Due to US Department of Commerce export control regulations governing technical data of Tektronix products, Tektronix needs to know the citizenship of all its employees. We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist in New Product Development. Are you ready for your next challenge? Tek might just be the place for you Responsibilities:

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Team, you will work directly with Product Line Design Engineering Teams to implement robust global supply chains supporting New Product Development (NPD). Source for commodities specific to the Sonix facility, focused on selection, quoting, qualification, and material availability during a products development phase, and will conclude with the transition of the new product to one of our global production sites. During the product development phase, you will be handling cost, quality, and schedule, while establishing a strong supply chain foundation for the entire product life cycle.

Qualifications:

BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3-5 years supply chain experience in support of the newest products' developed in either Test & Measurement or high technology industries preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Experience sourcing a broad-base of commodities a plus. Ability to align Engineering requirements with specific sourcing and commodity strategies. Keen negotiating, cost analysis, & problem solving skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong teamwork and influencing skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles Proven experience using Oracle ERP software or equivalent ERP applications. Some global business travel may be required. Industry Certifications – APICS or ISM-CPSM – preferred. #LI-RB
