Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of pharmacy services.Develop and implement performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication useevaluation and pharmacoeconomics.Conduct competency assessments and coordinate the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacyresidents and pharmacy students.Develop and manage departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.Also serve onvarious committees.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date required.Education:Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.Work Experience:3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.Additional Preferences Preferred:Previous pharmacy leadership expereince.3 years of acute care experience.Why Join Our Team Ascension Sacred Heart is a leading provider of high-quality healthcare to children and adults in South Alabama and Northwest Florida communities and operates Northwest Florida's only children's hospital.
