The Insurance Office Professional reports to and is employed by Ritter Financial Group. This position will be out of Reynoldsburg, OH. Hours are 30-40 hours a week and will be a set schedule once hours are agreed upon. Compensation for this position is $22/hr. Opportunities for growth available. Job Description Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities Handles incoming telephone calls responds to requests for information Researches inquiries regarding client accounts Provides fund values and answers other fixed insurance and fixed annuity related questions Performs routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies and processing mail Prepares/coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects Supports projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as needed Drives client facing activities in the practice by scheduling meetings with clients on behalf of the practice's Financial Advisors Updates the contact management system with client contact and preference information Assists Financial Advisors in the preparation for and follow up from client meetings Collaborates with Financial Advisors to assist clients with fixed insurance and fixed annuity product changes Participates and drives marketing services including direct-mail, fraternal activities, seminars, meetings Explains, discusses or interprets fixed insurance or fixed annuity contracts Communicates with customer whether requested coverage is or will be bound or issued Issues certificates of insurance, endorsements, binders, commitments, or insurance contracts Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with licensure and business needs Position Qualifications Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired Must be insurance licensed/appointed in all states in which they are performing activities requiring licensing Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2+ years preferred Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information Basic understanding of our products, services, and Thrivent Financial Competencies Planning/Organizing Client Focus Communication Interpersonal Skills Teamwork and Collaboration Adaptability/Flexibility External/Internal Dependencies Must be able to work with all roles of the > Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations Compliance and Regulatory As part of > recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process.
