Location: Onsite in Alpharetta, GA

Pay Rate: $50-$65/hour

An Insight Global client is looking for experienced Embedded Firmware Developer to join their team in Alpharetta, GA. This is a 6 month contract with extensions based on performance/need.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years experience as an Embedded Engineer
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded C and C++ environments.
  • RTOS
  • Development Tools: IAR, Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer
  • Repository Management Tool: Git/Gerrit/Jenkin
  • Exposure to Product Life Cycle and Software Development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Wireless communication and Networking protocols
  • Experience with RF networks, security encryption and packet-based networks are desirable.
  • Experience with protocol stacks such as 802.15.4e, 6LowPAN, SNMPv2/3, DHCPv6, FTP is desirable.
  • Bachelors degree in CS, electronics or electrical engineering

Compensation: $50/hour to $65/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
