POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the day-to-day operations of BSA Advanced Wound Care, including hiring, including patient flow; hiring, promoting, suspending, discipline and termination of employees; development of professional and community referral; payroll; preparing budgets and reports; attend meetings as required or requested; ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Responsible for the financial operation of the department including billing and reimbursement; communication with other departments and partners in patient care; staffing; supplies; Responsible for ensuring excellent quality care will be given to every patient served by promoting effective management of total patient care for chronic non-healing wounds. Accepts other tasks as assigned by the Senior Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities: Strives to maintain department financial viability. Ensures department compliance with relevant accreditation, certification, and government standards. Coordinate and conduct staff meetings monthly. Responsible for budget planning, implementation, and adherence. Responsible for developing and implementing community marketing. Perform financial audits to ensure accurate and compliant billing. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll management of AWC staff. Responsible for developing department goals. Ensures completion of staff annual evaluations in prescribed time frame Ensures staff compliance with mandatory training and education. Responsible for recruitment, hiring, and termination practices. Continually strives to improve all aspects of operations through continual process improvement Handles daily problem solving and decision making for the scheduling process to ensure patients are scheduled Facilitates problem solving within and between departments Ensure utmost compliance within Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, including but not limited to education, billing, reimbursement, authorizations, and compliance. Maintain accurate log information for a plethora of items to ensure compliancy (HBOT, skin subs,etc) Understanding of products for the betterment of the clinic, ensuring top quality for patient care. Promotes positive working relationships among personnel supervised, medical staff, support staff, patients, and other hospital departments. Implements performance and program evaluation systems within departments Identifies departmental program needs. Fosters a collaborative team environment Conducts annual competencies for staff, trains and mentors new employees.

Qualifications: Education/Training/Experience Bachelors Degree in Business, nursing, other health related field or equivalent experience Five years experience in healthcare management including vast knowledge in HBOT and Wound Care Certification/Licenses Current professional licensure in good standing, if applicable.
