CNC Programmer/Operator Are you ready to bring your CNC skills to a team that values precision and innovation? At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we're dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled CNC Programmers/Operators like you What You'll Do:Analyze specifications: Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds. Program CNC machines: Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency. CNC setup & calibration: Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production. Trial runs & adjustments: Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. Safety & cleanliness: Follow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Cross-departmental support: Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations. What You'll Bring:Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills. CAM software: Experience with CAM software preferred. Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes. Mathematics & communication: Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details. Problem-solving & teamwork: Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Physical requirements: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Work ethic: Dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards. Your Schedule:1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00PM To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
