Retail SalesJerry's Home Improvement is hiring great people to join our Retail Sales team at our Eugene store Sales Team Members support Jerry's Value Mission of providing World Class Service by working with our customers and ensuring they are able to locate and purchase everything they need for their home improvement projects, and helping where help is needed.The JobAs a Retail Sales Team Member you have the opportunity to:Develop a long-term career with an established, employee-owned companyWork on a great team focused on helping customersLearn about home improvement projects and products to help your customersRegularly receive sales and customer service training to grow your selling skillsSales Team Members work to:Seek out and greet all customers in the departmentAsk questions to understand the customers' project needsOffer guidance on what they may need to complete their project successfullyProvide solutions and alternatives, such as special orders, for product we don't currently have availableOther duties as assignedRequirementsA Sales Team Member requires:Courteous, Tactful, Diplomatic, Outgoing, and Friendly personalityDesire to participate in a team-based atmosphere that maintains high standardsPrior sales experience, Home Improvement Sales not requiredAbility to comfortably use a Point-of-Sale system and computersAble to deliver world-class customer service in a fast-paced retail environmentAbility to regularly lift/push/pull/carry a minimum of 30-55 lbs.Ability to stand/walk on concreteScheduleFlexible Full Time positions availableSchedule may vary and can include opening, closing, and weekend shiftsPosition requires open availability CompensationHourly Base Rate with Commission SharesBenefits available to all Part Time and Full Time team members after meeting eligibility requirementsIncludes Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off, 401(k), and Employee Stock Ownership Program, and a great Team Member store discountJerry's Home Improvement Center is a substance-free work environment and an equal opportunity employer.Please call our Human Resources department if you are having any issues applying online and we are happy help get you started
