Must have a proven track record of increasing patients through outreach and marketing efforts. Position Summary : The Marketing and Outreach Manager

position was created to spread the word about the work of Volunteers in Medicine to encourage members of the community who qualify to become a patient. IN addition, this position implements the PEACE (Patient Education, Advocacy, and Community Engagement) program. This program’s purpose is to increase access to care for the uninsured in Northeast Florida focusing on the culturally diverse communities. In addition, the Marketing and Outreach Manager will assist in the development of marketing materials, work with the team on patient recruitment strategies, attend community health events, utilize social media for marketing activities, and speak at community gatherings about the mission of VIM. This position helps promote the clinic and recruit patients to two clinic locations. Principal Job Duties : Develop a comprehensive set of measurable goals and objectives to increase patients. Measure and report these results at least quarterly. Continue to implement the PEACE (Patient Education, Advocacy, and Community Engagement) program. Identify and develop population-specific patient education marketing and communication materials and tools; expanding the clinic’s presence in the community by leveraging the organization’s extensive network of non-clinical volunteers to conduct timely off-site patient qualifying events at other social service agencies, houses of worship, not-for-profit organizations, schools Expand the clinic’s presence in the community and increase the number of patients by:

Recruiting and training volunteer PEACE ambassadors to imbed themselves neighborhoods, churches, and other organizations who will promote preventative care and educate community members about the various avenues to access care. Leverage the organization’s extensive network of non-clinical volunteers and PEACE ambassadors to conduct timely off-site patient qualifying events at other social service agencies, houses of worship, not-for-profit organizations, schools, and other events/ locations when identified. Work with our hospital partners to develop a collaborative partnership that incorporates a proactive approach to patient education and outreach to significantly reduce non-emergency room related visits by low-income, uninsured families and individuals. Identify and recruit a diverse network of volunteers that can serve as translators for patients that do not speak English as their primary language. Track expenses against the budget and input into the next year’s budget. Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital and traditional media Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and content that effectively communicate the organization's message Monitor and analyze marketing efforts to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions Draft funder communication on a quarterly cycle. Working with the Director of Volunteers, managing the PEACE ambassador team. Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services. Working on strategy with the marketing team. Maintain a good relationship with all staff, volunteers, patients, and the outside community Always maintain the integrity of patient and volunteer confidentiality. Knowledge and Skill : Position requires: Program development and implementation skills Innovation and strong digital marketing experience Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively within a team. Have high energy and be self-motivated Passionate about spreading the word about VIM to increase patient population Ability to work with little supervision utilizing time management skills Issue resolution skills Leadership skills Multi-lingual preferred Multi-tasking ability Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and non-verbal) Excellent Microsoft Office Products and general computer skills required. Working conditions : Clinic is clean and fully climate controlled; requires some flexibility in working hours.
