Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team for a hybrid position. This planner will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own development, communication, and execution of the returns and repair forecasts, materials and product supply plans, ensuring optimal availability (right product in the right place at the right time) and productive utilization of materials and finished good inventory across different regions and segments

  • Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications

  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities

  • Review and distribute production, work and shipment schedules and compile reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.

  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures

  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 to 4+ years of related experience

    • Supply chain

    • Supply Chain ERP systems (SAP, APO / IBP, MRP preferred)

    • Proficiency with data management

    • Inventory management, material management, processes and systems

  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred (BS / MS in supply chain, operations management, math / economics or engineering desired), MBA in Supply Chain Management a plus

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production

  • Ability to accurately document and record customer / client information

  • Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail

  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills



$31.50 - $34.50 per hour
