Develop engineering documentation and instructions for system construction and technical data transfer to manufacturing and customers. Be a safety role model and promote a safe work environment. Manage project timelines, milestones, and engage with stakeholders to realize cost-effective products. Create CAD models, assembly instructions, test plans, and inspection protocols for quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery. Problem solve, redesign as required, and implement mistake-proofing concepts. Analyze and design fixtures, processes, and recommend process automation and new equipment. Ensure vendors/subcontractors adhere to product specifications and testing procedures. Provide input and support in selecting vendors. Approximately 10% domestic travel to various U.S. sites may be required. Requirements: The Project Engineer position requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in the mentioned fields is acceptable. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is also acceptable per 20 CFR 656.17(H)(4). Applicants must have experience in managing projects, analyzing and designing fixtures, 3D modeling in SolidWorks, and creating assembly instructions, test plans, and inspection protocols.
