To ensure all Capital Distributing products are displayed and arranged according to plan at retail convenience store locations in such a way as to encourage purchase, while maintaining exceptional customer service within all accounts that we service and protecting Capital market space from competition. This position is considered a safety sensitive position as defined by the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Testing Program as allowed under the State of Oklahoma House Bill 2612 (aka “The Unity Bill”). RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES

(this is not all-inclusive): ·

Responsible for executing shelf resets as agreed upon by the customer, ensuring accurate product placement and rotation. ·

Responsible for supporting the Sales & Merchandising teams as needed. ·

Responsible for the implementation of schematics at retail. ·

Responsible for general in-store merchandising as assigned. ·

Acquires cooler and warm shelf measurements to establish a customer database for which space management decisions are derived. ·

Implement shelf sets. ·

Understand general aspects of space planning and Capital Space objectives. ·

Stock shelves, rebuild displays, and prepare all other shopping areas for consumer purchase. ·

Place and replace all POS materials to assure effectiveness and accuracy. ·

Identifies retail opportunities for market share growth and takes appropriate action. ·

Attends and participates in company training programs and sales meetings. ·

Is proactive to resolve issues, anticipate change, adapts quickly to changes. ·

Ensure all products have been rotated and are in good condition for purchase. ·

Report or act upon opportunities discovered in assigned accounts. ·

Notify management of customer need for additional product. ·

Keep the POS area in a clean and orderly condition. ·

Keep a positive image and relationship with all customers that are contacted. ·

Properly complete all assigned training in a timely manner. ·

Merchandising of products including working loads and pull ups. ·

Assisting in running relief routes as needed. GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate and cooperate with all departments of the company to ensure the smooth operation of the company as a whole. Maintain a positive relationship with all customers, co-employees, and management. Maintain appropriate dress and personal appearance. Know, understand, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Promote company goodwill in all areas, assist others and perform tasks as appropriate and/or necessary to help maintain the positive image of Capital Distributing in the market. Always adhere to proper and safe driving habits and observations of laws and regulations. Adhere to all applicable Federal, State, County and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of products. Maintain a current and appropriate driver’s license. Maintain a reliable personal vehicle and timely submit mileage through Motus. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED required. PC literate with good working knowledge of all internal software utilized within Capital’s Sales department. Strong ability to interact with and influence suppliers and employees. Work safely and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures. Must be organized and able to prioritize. Capable of strategic thinking and planning. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must have a reliable personal vehicle. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to drive, sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. Must be able to twist and reach overhead. Must be able to crawl and/or climb a ladder.
