Summit Financial Group, LLC , a thriving wealth management firm in San Ramon, CA, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Financial Planner to join our dynamic Advisor Resource Center. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the financial futures of our clients by building comprehensive and personalized financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

Research and compile information for client financial plans.

Analyze client data including income, expenses, debts, and assets.

Create comprehensive financial plans considering:

Retirement projections and needs.

Optimal asset allocation strategies.

Educational funding strategies.

Insurance coverage recommendations.

Estate planning considerations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products and regulations.

Adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work with other Planners and Advisors on client cases.

Collaborate on the creation of executive summaries for clients:

Summarizing client goals and financial situation.

Outlining recommended financial strategies.

Communicating recommendations clearly and concisely.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of financial planning experience.

Securities licensed under current requirements: SIE, Series 7, 66 (or 63/65), and Life & Health (or ability to obtain within 3-6 months).

Started coursework or strong desire to pursue CFP certification.

Proficient in financial planning software like eMoney or MoneyGuide Pro.

Masterful communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills.

Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

Understands the financial planning process and fiduciary standards.
