Construction Coordinator

to support our Operations team at our Head Office in Halifax. What you will do: •Manage the Renovation Manuals and Specifications for all properties in terms of accuracy and completeness; •Provide support to Property Managers and their contractors throughout the construction process; •Have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Sketch Up along with an ability to adapt to new technologies; •Prepare monthly reports on construction schedules; •Finding, employing, and managing contractors and sub-contractors with the goal of implementing strong standards of workmanship along with fair pricing; •Develop drawings to renovate units across Canada with a working understanding of AutoCAD; •Attend site visits locally and within the Maritimes and have a general willingness to travel; •Provide support for the existing supply chain and establish new supply chains in new markets; •Other duties may be assigned. Who you are: •Strong business and communication skills; •Excellent attention to detail; •Drafting, Sketch-up and Photoshop experience would be beneficial and some site work is essential; •Work well with others, sometimes under pressure; •Take initiative and find solutions to different issues and situations; •Strong aptitude would be valued over experience; •Have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.
