The Integrated Marketing Manager is a key contributor within Outside Inc.'s Advertising Marketing + Sales department. Working with the Media Strategy, Creative Strategy and Sales team, this role's main focus is to help support, enable, market, and amplify all initiatives across the org. This includes creating materials and GTM strategy for all our sellable products (events, ad products, sponsorships, etc) across all platforms (digital, TV, video, social, audio, and print) and all consumer-facing titles, including the outdoor, cycling, and healthy living groups. While the primary focus will be on activating initiatives and creating media strategies and marketing materials across all titles, platforms, and products, this role will also assist and offer creative and strategic input on individual campaigns and sales events.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Ad Marketing and Sales teams to create data- and market-driven category- and industry- specific strategies and sales materials
  • Manage and execute Outside For Business strategy across all channels, including content creation, asset collection, project management, and deployment of content and posts across all Outside For Business email and social channels
  • Project manage and collaborate with sales and brand creative teams on various marketing initiatives, including Outside for Business site, one sheeters, case studies, award submissions, and product- and platform-specific marketing materials and tool kits
  • Manage and execute periodic sales events in person. This includes event support, asset creation, and event hosting.
  • Part of the team that will create a uniform and coordinated network-wide suite of strategies and supporting materials across all platforms (digital, TV, video, audio, and print) and consumer-facing titles, including the outdoor, cycling, and healthy living groups
  • Help drive the overarching, network-wide marketing plan and go-to-market strategy for Outside's entire advertising and sales department
  • Consider new marketing and sellable opportunities to help grow audiences and drive consumer revenue
  • Stay up-to-date on consumer, market, channel, and technology trends and proactively identify new ways to solve business problems and refine Outside's marketing and messaging
  • Keep abreast of the continually evolving media, business, technology and entertainment marketplace, consumer behaviors, and the competitive landscape,
  • Bring market insights, data and thought leadership into strategic planning to continually push the business forward
  • This position will report to the Sr Director, Strategy + Planning
Qualifications:
  • At least 4+ years of experience in advertising, media, and/or content creation
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies for portfolio brand companies
  • Understanding and passion for research, data, creative, and media
  • Experience with storytelling, storyboarding, and putting together company-wide presentations
  • Ability to create, lead, and present robust data sets and learnings but in digestible and engaging ways
  • Comfort with and interest event planning and organization
  • Organizational skills are a must to succeed on this fast-paced team
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic environment with shifting deadlines
  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving and in working with people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Deep understanding of G-Suite, Google Analytics
  • An interest in new, emerging technology (and a fast learner)

Remote jobs and those jobs that can be located in Boulder, Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $50,000 to $65,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more. The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors
