This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. This position will support our Government Contracting Group. We provide comprehensive services to assist government contractors with a full life cycle approach to winning and managing contracts. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to: As an audit director, your primary responsibilities include providing technical consultation to our GovCon clients, serving as the engagement leader, growing our practice through business development activities, and developing and mentoring staff. Our professionals work on a variety of engagements including, but not limited to the following: Audits Reviews Compilations Agreed-upon procedures Other attestation engagements The ideal candidate will possess expertise and experience within the Government Contracting industries. In addition, the candidate must have proven experience directing and driving the success of multiple engagements, managing budgetary and time constraints, and delivering a high-level of client satisfaction. YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: Minimum 10+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm GovCon or commercial experience preferred Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in accounting required CPA licensure required Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skills Demonstrates an Entrepreneurial spirit Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or CCH Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills Studies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
