Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25 - $28/hr
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing accounts payable using the accounting software and handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors. The Accounts Payable Specialist handles processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling book of accounts.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts payable
- Basic data entry skills
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
- Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility. (Including healthcare plans, discount programs and paid time off)
