If so, then you’ve come to the right place General Summary This position is responsible for providing professional customer service including applying knowledge of Granite’s products and services to all internal and external customers for an assigned location to ensure customer satisfaction. Essential Job Accountabilities Coordinate all customer calls including connecting them to the appropriate Granite location or employee to ensure timely customer service and customer satisfaction. Establish proactive communication with all customers to ensure positive relationships are developed and maintained. Assist Regional Materials and Construction employees with marketing of Granite’s aggregates, asphalt and construction capabilities. Provide coverage for materials sales calls to ensure all customer needs are met in a timely manner. Update bid date log, job lists, and material customer contact lists to ensure accurate and easily accessible records. Assemble and distribute Granite marketing materials as requested by Sales personnel and Estimators. Research online sources for material and construction opportunities that meet Granite’s capabilities to ensure future business opportunities are explored. Maintain vacation and employee availability log to ensure all records are accurate. Education High School Diploma Required Associates degree preferred Work Experience 3+ years experience in related industry and or customer service function Knowledge, skills, and abilities Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of Construction Industry Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
