Job Description: Analyst 1 (Disbursement Reviewer and Approver) Role and accountability Responsible to the paper condition review and approval of cash disbursements and non-cash disbursement transactions (SLOCPI, SLGFI, SLFPI) such as loans, surrenders, fund and dividend withdrawals, endowment payouts, etc, within the approved authority limit. Accountable for the accurate, timely and complete review and approval of all types of cash and non-cash disbursements, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines and control procedures. Responds to and resolves escalated disbursement cases within service levels. Monitors disbursement conduct disbursement audits to maintain quality and implement improvement. Analyzes disbursement trends and data and submits disbursement reports. Work duties and responsibilities Reviews and approves disbursement transactions in an accurate, complete and timely manner, within the approved authority limit and ensuring service levels are met: Disbursement Transactions: Policy Advances (loans) Dividend Withdrawals Anticipated Endowment benefit withdrawals VUL Fund withdrawals VUL Fund Switching WMS PS TAT Compliance = 98% Disbursement Accuracy= 100% 100% Compliance with disbursement guidelines and procedures 100% Compliance to sending CTA letters using approved template No incidence of financial loss to the company Follows the operating guidelines and control procedures in reviewing and approving workitems in WMS and

the same adherence from the disbursement processors. Analyzes and evaluates with disbursement processors and other disbursement approvers exception cases and/or implement work improvement and processes. Conduct outbound recorded calls to clients and advisor, as required, in a professional, timely and polite manner using the prescribed spiels/scripts; Monitors all pending work items and ensures these are resolved within agreed upon TAT. Follows through open work items/cases; coordinates with other units (Finance Treasury) and possible disbursement request access points (such as Client Service Center, Client Care, as needed) until resolved.
