The mission of the Community Relations Manager is to support our Community Groups where peers share knowledge and experiences according to topics of interest and connect with one another both in person and across various platforms. The role will drive community membership, manage existing and upcoming programming, and help with the design and implementation of new, innovative program offerings that will help retain and grow Finseca's membership. Duties & Responsibilities General Serve as the internal team liaison to Community Groups to help drive engagement within the communities and provide input to the internal team on how to promote Community benefits. Develop and maintain key relationships with Community stakeholders. Responsible for being a resource for Community Groups, connecting them with other members, and discovering how Finseca can help drive membership to the Community. Help identify major themes and distill them into how-to or forward-looking insights that will help members of the community more effectively accomplish immediate and long-term goals and objectives. Review, prepare, and present program post reports/updates/presentations as needed to the community members, both internally and externally. Coordinate with the Corporate Sales Team to assist with prospect value discovery, including details on upcoming and past exchanges, insights, member connections, and member onboarding for the Communities. Coordinate with the Membership and Marketing Teams to promote Finseca membership and member events, including refining messaging and descriptions of deliverables to attract desired cohorts to our organization and the Community Groups. Travel to conferences and meetings, and other programs as necessary. Ensures successful onsite execution of events alongside the events team. Other duties as assigned. Community Groups Working closely with the SVP, Member Experience to ensure community success by helping drive engagement within the community and provide input to the internal team on how to promote Community benefits. Work with Community committees to create useful content and programming. In collaboration with the SVP, Member Experience, responsible for managing the Community budgets. Governance (under community groups) Staff Liaison for the Community Group and Board of Directors. Organizing Executive Committee and Board of Directors Meetings by collecting topic ideas, developing agendas, facilitating meetings, taking minutes, creating reports, presenting reports, and analyzing results to make recommendations for future member engagement and events. Organize and plan strategic planning discussions with the Community Board of Directors. Communicate regularly with the President to ensure connectivity and overall engagement of the community. Communicate regularly with the Chair or Co-Chairs. Committees (under community groups) Staff Liaison for committees. Developing agendas for the committee meetings that follow up on committee action items and provide collaborative discussion opportunities. Other duties as assigned Events (under community groups) Responsible for driving community engagement and participation in Community meetings. Responsible for creating and managing speaker applications, organizing speaker presentation reviews in conjunction with the committee, drafting speaker confirmations, and collecting speaker presentations/materials. Working with the Community Committee and SVP Member Experience to assist with finalizing the program. Responsible for managing the award nominations. Draft scripts and run of shows. Attend site visits and any onsite support. Responsible for creating, executing, and evaluating post-event survey results. Responsible for the development, execution, and management of the registration process. Responsible for coordinating with sponsor contacts. Responsible for drafting scripts for main session events. Collaborate with the Meeting and Events Team on event logistics. Coordination of online presenter review/ rehearsal. Membership (under community groups) Create a new member onboarding plan. Manage the new member onboarding journey. Awards (under community groups) Coordinate with Corporate Partners and Marketing team to help develop awards brochures. Responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the awards applications process for individuals and home offices. Responsible for communicating with applicants on their award status. Responsible for communicating with award winner around their attendance at conference. In collaboration with the Meetings and Events team, coordinate all logistics and programing for the awards ceremonies at conferences. Collaborate with Corporate Partners and Marketing teams around awards benefits fulfilment. Skills & Experience 3-5 years experience in program development, community groups and/or association management (preferred) Excellent internal and external stakeholder communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Works well within a team environment Proven experience managing and cultivating online community engagement is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, customer management systems, website platforms, and social media platforms. Ability to quickly learn new technologies. Proven experience managing and cultivating online community engagement is required. Education College degree required. Continued education, as appropriate Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, exempt position. Travel Some travel is expected for this position. Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary commensurate with experience.
