As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the daily safety, quality, housekeeping, receiving, and shipping activities of the Circleville Resin Plant. Your primary objectives will be to ensure safe and efficient operation of the receiving and shipping functions, including safe handling of bulk and non-bulk raw materials, handling and operation of the catalyst bunker, ensuring inventory accuracy, on-time delivery of orders, meeting all labeling, packaging, and paperwork requirements, to assemble and deliver within time requirements, and to safely manage PPG human resources and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily safety, quality, housekeeping, receiving, and shipping activities of the Circleville Resin Plant.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the receiving and shipping functions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and on-time delivery of orders.
  • Meet all labeling, packaging, and paperwork requirements.
  • Safely manage PPG human resources and assets.
  • Responsible for adherence to safety, regulatory, and company policies across all shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field with at least 6 years demonstrated experience with shipping/logistics within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of demonstrated supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience with chemicals/hazardous materials/PSM regulations.
  • Previous experience developing and supervising teams.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system.
  • Working knowledge of a warehouse inventory management system.
