Position Summary:

Acts as a patient educator/advocate for patients who need further treatment/support prior to and/or after a surgical consult/procedure in the Breast Center. Assesses to identify high-risk patients (physical, psychological and social), identify any healthcare barriers and provide early triage or intervention. Plan healthcare pathways with multidisciplinary team, coordinates care with other team members and monitors patient's total response to care for optimum outcomes. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Lukes mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's in nursing required

Experience: 2 Years of previous experience in nursing as a health or patient educator

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
