Your Important Role as a Staff Pharmacist:
Receive verbal RX orders and accurately reduce to writing in adherence with State and Federal laws and regulations
Interpret, fill/refill, label, and bag prescription orders completely and accurately
Evaluate the appropriateness of RX orders with consideration to patient safety and legal requirements
Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers
Be familiar with third-party billing and procedures, facilitate charges for customer
Maintain accurate records-including insurance-properly receive RX information from customers, correctly and accurately deliver RX to customers, assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations
Execute phone calls to prescribers and prescribers' office staff
Demonstrate ability to accurately and efficiently utilize RX computer system
Maintain accurate inventory, reconciliation, and research of controlled substances in compliance with the record-keeping of the controlled substance account
Actively promote proper immunizations to patients and provide them safely and effectively
Follow all policies and procedures

Qualifications for this Staff Pharmacist position include:
Possess a current Pharmacist license in the state of PA, with no board restrictions - or have a PA license in process or willing to obtain ASAP
Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam
Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam
