To learn more, visit www.AlacritySolutions.com The Administrative Clerk works with the Accounting and Operations team to ensure all stop payment requests and inquiries via a shared email inbox are completed in various online bank portals and communicating that information to the operations team. Role includes additional tasks such as ad hoc reporting requests, voiding checks, data entry in various applications. Primary Duties include but are not limited to: Responds to inquiries from customers and TPA operational staff/managers. Completes stop payments within various banking portals, as well as the associated voids in the accounting system, while communicating with TPA Operational admins for tracking purposes Assists the TPA Manager in organizing files and emails per the shared TPA drive and shared email address. Performs data entry and filing tasks for claims data, and confidential claims files. Confirms overnight/expedited check requests are completed daily. Performs other related duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Skills & Requirements: 2+ years of clerical experience Online Bank Portal experience Understanding of stop payments Intermediate to advanced computer skills specifically but not limited to Excel and other Microsoft products. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in verbal and written form. Excellent judgement and strong multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Proactive in nature Consistent discretion when handling sensitive information and/or situations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Physical & Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents, respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
