About the role A leading valuation and advisory firm seeks a Vice President/Director in Business Valuation. The position is based in Chicago. Primary Responsibilities Collaborates with senior analysts to prepare and review quantitative valuation and related analytics Drafts expert reports, delivers presentations, and supports new client engagements Provides financial advisory services for transaction, taxation, and litigation purposes Cultivates client relationships to maintain and generate revenue Demonstrates thought leadership through publications and professional activities Serves as primary contact for major corporate and institutional clients Qualifications 5-10+ years of experience preparing business valuation and expert witness reports 5+ years managing engagement workflow, directing staff, and interacting with clients Proven thought leadership and experience in accounting and management due diligence Ability to work collaboratively within teams Strong analytical, problem?solving, and communication skills Holds one or more of the following credentials: CPA, ABV, CFA, CBA, CVA, ASA Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required Master's degree or MBA preferred Seniority level Executive Employment type Full-time Job function Finance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Selby Jennings by 2X.
