A leading valuation and advisory firm is seeking talented candidates for a growth opportunity as a Vice President/Director in Business Valuation.The firm is looking for an experienced professional with expertise in business valuation, including closely held company valuation, illiquid stock and bond valuation, and intangible asset and intellectual property valuation. Additional analytics may include economic damages, forensic analysis, tangible and intangible property appraisal, and intercompany transfer pricing analysis.The position is based in Chicago.Primary ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with senior analysts to prepare and review quantitative valuation and related analyticsDrafts expert reports, delivers presentations, and supports new client engagementsProvides financial advisory services for transaction, taxation, and litigation purposesCultivates client relationships to maintain and generate revenueDemonstrates thought leadership through publications and professional activitiesServes as primary contact for major corporate and institutional clientsQualifications5-10+ years of experience preparing business valuation and expert witness reports5+ years managing engagement workflow, directing staff, and interacting with clientsProven thought leadership and experience in accounting and management due diligenceAbility to work collaboratively within teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsHolds one or more of the following credentials: CPA, ABV, CFA, CBA, CVA, ASAEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics requiredMaster's degree or MBA preferred
