Sr. Compliance Specialist, Export and Import

The Sr. Compliance Specialist, Export and Import works in the International Trade Compliance Department to provide export controls and import support to the Supernal business, particularly to the engineering departments. Candidates should be proactive, collaborative, diligent, and solutions-oriented with good judgement and transparent communication. This position requires on-site work 5 days a week. Responsibilities:

Routinely review and classify technologies subject to the EAR Coordinate with engineers on classification; advise on export controls matters Update the Head of ITCD on export controls matters Flag issues to ITCD Review purchase requisitions and orders for export/import risks; coordinate with suppliers Develop and submit EEIs Assist with export compliance training and processes Improve guidance documents and policies Coordinate export controls analysis Maintain records of import/export documents Ensure export license compliance Other export compliance duties May require up to 10% domestic and international travel Other duties as assigned Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field Minimum 10 years’ experience in export controls Experience with aerospace technologies is advantageous Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP and data sharing platforms Familiarity with EU and Republic of Korea export controls Excellent communication and organizational skills Proactive and detail-oriented Proficiency in MS Office Suite Background check required.
