Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Program Security Officer / Data Center Security Manager with a strong track record of supporting security programs within cleared facilities, program/project management experience, program security knowledge, and understanding of government security programs.
As a Program Security Officer (PSO) / Data Center Security Manager (DSM) at an accredited AWS site, you will execute security disciplines supporting classified operations, manage projects to protect personnel, National Security Information, and critical infrastructure from threats. You will manage onsite security forces, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and deliver exceptional service.
This position requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive program security guidance
Implement and manage security requirements at a large government accredited data center site
Draft and review security documentation
Identify security requirements and provide solutions
Support security hardware and systems operations
Develop relationships with internal and external partners
Manage onsite security forces
Oversee the classified material program
Experience with workflow ticketing and metrics
Participate in security audits and reviews
Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
Manage security P&L for assigned site(s)
Travel between local facilities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 4+ years experience as a Program Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Manager
- 4+ years experience in physical security best practices
- 4+ years of data-driven decision making
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Experience with secure facility requirements and government regulations
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to drive projects independently
- Adaptability to new technologies
- Experience overseeing security operations personnel
- Excellent communication skills
