Description

  • Analyze process, product, and component performance for improvement opportunities
  • Develop and manage customer-specific Quality Plans
  • Deliver weekly reports and analysis on quality data to management
  • Provide technical support on product specifications and performance criteria
  • Implement and monitor statistical process controls and ISO standards
  • Offer quality support to production processes
  • Train QA Technicians, Operations staff, and entry-level Engineers
  • Assist with shop floor system utilization
  • Manage and publish Quality Assurance Performance Reports
  • Review quality data for conformance to specifications
  • Drive corrective actions on CARs
  • Conduct internal quality audits
  • Lead failure analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Create process documentation, alerts, deviations, and purges
  • Participate in MRB reviews and disposition processes
  • Recommend DFM/DFT analyses for quality and cost improvements
  • Facilitate ECO implementation with analysis and verification
  • Support New Product Introduction for product teams, suppliers, and customers
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to drive business success

Profile

  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 5-10 years in engineering or manufacturing preferred
  • Strong initiative for investigating and resolving production issues
  • Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods required
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Preferred experience in medium to high-volume assembly and SMT manufacturing, including electrical, mechanical, and PCA components
