Comments are off for this post Job Site: Princeton, NJ Duties: Perform comprehensive structural engineering analysis and design with structural assessments and evaluation of existing structures. Calculate the load and grade requirements or material stress factors to determine design specifications. Provide technical advice or management regarding design, construction, or structural repairs. Create graphical representations of structures and recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality or performance. Perform calculations for building gravity and lateral structural systems in accordance with local building codes. Create detailed structural drawings, models, and reports using industry-standard software. Review tests such as soil, material, strength of foundations, concrete or steel. Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions. Requirements: Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering. One year of experience in designing and analyzing various structures, and performing structural inspections and creating reports. Proficiency in lateral and gravity design of steel and concrete structures. Proficiency in using Auto CAD, Risa, SAP2000, STAAD. E. License required.
