The CAD/Revit Technician will possess a strong background in drafting and design, proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD)software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit, and mínimal experience with MicroStation and ProjectWise. The CAD/Revit Technician is responsible for assisting structural engineers with preparing design documents for structural systems, including technical drawings, details, structural notes, and schedules.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CADD) software, to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics.
- Ability to work in a 3D environment.
- Experienced in Revit 3D modeling of all structural material structures.
- Develop Revit families (both non-parametric and parametric)
- Preparing layout drawings, detail drawings and as built drawings for structural elements
- Develop 2D sheets plan and sections from 3D model, Scheduling take off, Clash detection etc.
- Required multidisciplinary experience (Revit linking)
- Coordination with other disciplines such as Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical services.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
- All other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and Microsoft Office products,
- Ability to decipher construction plans.
- Knowledge of manually drafting drawing plans when necessary
- Ability to visualize finished products as well as projects.
- Extremely organized and detailed oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple requests in a growing company environment.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring that all technical drawings meet the required standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of AEC terminology
- Highly analytical with the ability to calculate complex mathematical equations.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:
High School Diploma Required. Minimum of three (3) years of CAD/Design related experience in general civil engineering.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

Autodesk Certification

**TRAVEL**:
This position requires travel (less than 10%).

Options of Remote, Hybrid or in Office at our Syosset, NY, Princeton, NJ or Newark, NJ locations.

**SALARY RANGE**:
$61,725.00 - $79,855.00 annually
