**The Supervisor Registered Dietitian** is responsible for:

+ Clinical nutrition assessment and care of patients / administrative functions as it relates to the food and nutrition department functions

+ Acting as a liaison between the food and nutrition department, nursing services, the patient and physician

+ Developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure quality care

+ Perform Supervisor duties such as interviewing, selecting, hiring, scheduling, training and time keeping of team members

+ Working in conjunction with the manager for disciplinary actions and terminations

+ Other duties as assigned

Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23. A graduate degree includes a masters degree, practice doctorate, doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD or, DSc).

**Certifications and Licensures**

+ **Required** - Dietitian License through the state of Florida

+ Preferred - Board Certified Specialist via CDR

**Education**

Required - Bachelors

**Preferred** - Masters

Bachelor's

Food and Nutrition

**Experience**

+ Required - 4 years in a related field

+ Or 3 years in a related field with a Masters

+ **Preferred** - 1 year with leadership experience in related field
