The Opportunity

DAT is looking for aSalesforce Product Manager to join our product management team. This position can be based in Beaverton, OR; Denver, CO; or remotely.

The Salesforce Product Manager's primary focus is guiding the build of critical CRM, CPQ, and Billing tools to support DAT business functions. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined backlogs. Using an agile framework, they will closely collaborate with the Business Applications Team and other business stakeholders from across the company to drive the innovative use and adoption of Salesforce and other business applications with an eye toward revenue-generating activities and productivity enhancements. This position covers all areas of the product lifecycle, including needs analysis, product road mapping, development of enhancements, and business implementation.

Candidate profile

  • Maximize the return on investment for DAT's business applications, increasing user adoption and driving innovative use of our platforms.
  • Develops and maintains strategic roadmap and underlying stories, including owning the business priority of those stories.
  • Plan and prioritize development and feature backlog for our business application architecture.
  • Leads business application release plans and sets expectations for delivery of new functionalities with stakeholders.
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Salesforce platform, aligning with business goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features for development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and other departments to understand their needs and integrate business application solutions accordingly.
    • Ensure seamless integration with other DAT systems and applications.
  • Product Development
    • Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle for business application initiatives, from concept to implementation.
    • Work closely with developers, administrators, and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Configuration and Customization
    • Oversee the configuration and customization of applications to meet business requirements.
    • Stay updated on Salesforce and other business application best practices and new features, ensuring the platform is optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • User Training and Support
    • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize the utilization of Salesforce and other business application features.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for business application-related issues.

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Product Manager or in a similar role with a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices
  • Salesforce certification(s), such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or CPQ Specialist are required.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Highly motivated, strong prioritization, and a bias for action. Can work independently to bring all assigned work to completion with speed and accuracy.
  • Possess the ability to lead change positively. Great communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, approachable, and excited to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to move between strategic and tactical, breaking down objectives into priorities and initiatives with actions to deliver outcomes effectively.
  • Ability to recognize what results are the most important and create the steps to achieve them.
  • Highly adaptive in the face of ambiguous and complex problems, taking a flexible and open-minded approach to new challenges. Able to seamlessly alternate between various tasks and excel in the face of frequent change.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to diagnose and scope problems, implement recommendations, and track success.

For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, theminimum salary for this role is 130,000.00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
