About this role As the Billing & Financial Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating tactical/high volume and transactional work through established administrative processes ensuring that the processing of invoices, receipting, allocations, debt management etc. are carried out in an accurate and timely manner adhering to financial controls and authorities required (for example DFAs). This position will also ensure effective reporting of KPIs and coordinates the processes in such a manner as to achieve all the accounting operations KPIs. Coordinate high volume, transactional and processing work to ensure that all required timeframes and performance outcomes are met. Act as the conduit for day-to-day tactical instructions on work between the Accounting Operations team and Accounting. Serve as an escalation point for more complex related queries while providing a valued advisory service to relevant stakeholders on routine financial service matters. Facilitate accounting operations work ensuring distribution of work amongst team members to meet agreed KPIs. Ensure team members understand deliverables and deadlines. Ensure team members adhere to established procedures and internal controls. Ensure regulatory or legislative changes affecting relevant financial service provision are well understood, documented as appropriate, communicated and implemented effectively. Facilitate prompt resolution of all aged transactions, and the provision of prompt and seamless customer service including attending to supplier and customer inquiries received. Manage problem invoices in a timely and accurate manner to pay by the due date. Prompt action and follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure issues are flagged early to mitigate risk of non-collections. Coordinate to ensure proper filing and archiving of documentation such as invoices, statements, and others to facilitate ease of retrieval and to meet record keeping requirements. Report to the team leader and area manager on team’s performance against KPIs. Optimize assigned resources to meet planned outputs; and escalate as appropriate. Provide direct support and may be required to deputize for the Team Leader. About you We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include: Successful completion of year 12 with Mathematics & English preferred with significant relevant experience in transactional/processing and coordination activities. At least 5+ years sound prior experience in coordinating high volume, transactional and processing work and being able to lead and coordinate this work. Attention to detail and proven track record in achieving accuracy and high standards of work. Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships across all levels. Evidence of using organizational agility and lateral thinking to formulate and drive solutions to problems and blockers, individually and in coordinating/leading others. Ability to self-motivate and work independently, comfortable with ambiguity, and in situations with shifting goals/objectives. Proven organizational skills and experience in optimizing planned outcomes within the confines of assigned resources. Advanced reporting and analytical skills, ability to provide insight and solution driving team’s performance against agreed targets. Solid skills in the MS Office suite of products, especially Excel & strong level PC literacy.
