As a Sourcing Analyst specializing in Business Intelligence at Toro, you will be pivotal in leveraging data to support strategic decision-making within the Supply Management team. Reporting to the Sourcing Analytics Manager and collaborating closely with the Enterprise IT group, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI applications & dashboards. These applications will provide actionable insights related to pricing, spend management, supplier quality, performance, and other critical Sourcing KPIs.

What Will You Do?
  • Power BI Application Development: Design, development, and maintenance of Power BI applications tailored to meet analytical needs across various Supply Management functions.
  • Spend Management & Pricing Tools: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze cost data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize costs and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather insights, and communicate analytical findings effectively.
  • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data used in Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users on utilizing Power BI applications effectively to extract meaningful insights.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of Power BI applications, identify areas for optimization, and implement enhancements to improve usability, performance, and scalability.
  • Data Integration and Automation: Lead efforts to integrate data from various sources into Power BI applications, leveraging automation tools to streamline data processes.
What Do You Need?
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Proven experience in developing and managing Power BI applications, including data modeling, visualization design, and DAX calculations.
  • Experience with data governance principles, data quality management, and best practices for ensuring data integrity.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
