Position Summary We are seeking a Sr. IT Developer to join our dynamic IT team. We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining the integration of various applications within the Foundation. As well as experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards using reporting tools native to the applications and BI tools (like PowerBI or Tableau). The Sr. IT Developer is responsible for learning the APIs available for each application and developing the scripts/programs necessary to efficiently integrate the applications. The ideal candidate is able to identify and execute tasks in the software development life cycle, reviews and debugs code, collaborates with internal teams, and ensures software is up-to-date with the latest technologies. The Sr. IT Developer will have the responsibility to drive projects forward, mentor junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is based out of the downtown Chicago office, with occasional travel to the Cantigny (Wheaton) office. Essential Functions Lead data and/or related systems integration projects across the organization’s business domain and specific to NetSuite Lead report writing and analytics efforts for the organization’s operational and financial information. Integrate Oracle NetSuite ERP with various applications for banking, corporate credit cards, POS, Grantmaking, Donor Management, online ordering, CRM, equipment maintenance, and other applications being used by the Foundation. The Sr. IT Developer, in collaboration with the IT Strategy Lead, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining all integration solutions. Understand and map data required for integration across applications; transform data as necessary to maintain the integrity and purpose of the data Develop integration components to facilitate the flow of information from one application to another; utilize available APIs from the business applications to retrieve and post information and develop transformation programs as necessary. Maintain the integrity and security of data by ensuring the integration components developed are implemented with authentication mechanisms and that they are following the Security policies of the Foundation. Identify and resolve issues related to integration, such as data integrity issues, communication failures, or performance bottlenecks. Develop processes and alerts to handle exceptions and integration matters that require attention. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software vendors, business analysts, and business users, to understand the requirements and design effective integration solutions. Adhere to best practices and industry standards when developing the integration architecture and design. Create and maintain documentation for all processes developed, APIs, data mappings, and configuration, Perform testing to ensure that integration solutions meet all the requirements prior to deployment to production. Assist in the development of dashboards and operational reports to provide insight for teams, managers, and executives. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products. Minimum Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science and information technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience:

4-6 years; Sr. IT developer or software engineer. At least 2 years’ experience with the day-to-day technical management of integration with the NetSuite platform using an iPaaS like Boomi or Celigo required. Skills: Extensive experience in software development, scripting, data structures, databases, and project management. Understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality, processes and hands-on SuiteScript experience to provide back-end customization. Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system a plus. Experience in JavaScript and HTML a plus. Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Demonstrated passion for the Foundation's values with commitment to deliver results measured against the Foundation's mission. Working Conditions: Full-time position, reporting to the IT Strategy Lead. Most work is performed in a typical office environment.
