About the Team With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance. Responsibilities

Designing and implementing (C/C++) features to improve the backend system of Zoom Mail/Calendar/Scheduler

Designing and implementing web servers APIs (application programming interfaces). All our services are web based

Bringing up our web-based system on server platforms by working with DevOps to deploy your service to the Kubernetes cluster

What we’re looking for

4+ years of experience with BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, ECE, EE, or BS in the same majors with at least half a year of industry experience.

Be proficient in script languages, such as python, PHP, shell scripting, etc Demonstrate good understanding of Linux development

Be skilled with HTTP protocol

Be skilled on C/C++, could write performant, robust applications

Have a solid computer background, took many educational courses such as operating system, compiler, database management, data structure, algorithm, software engineering.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $94,600.00 Maximum: $218,700.00 At Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
