**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist**
**Job Description**
Set up and operate a CNC lathe with Fanuc controls, including machines like Puma, Kia, and Hwacheon. Responsibilities include switching tools and inserts, loading and unloading fixtures, proofing the program, understanding 0 point reference, maintaining tight tolerances, running offsets, and completing in-process inspections. You will mostly work with materials like stainless steel 4140 and hastalloy. Expect to perform some editing to catch any discrepancies in the code.
**Pay:** **up to $45/hr**
**Hard Skills**
+ CNC Lathe operation
+ Experience with Fanuc controls and Predator software
+ Ability to work with stainless steel 4140 and hastalloy
+ Capability to run 2 machines simultaneously
+ Experience with 5-axis (preferred but not required)

**Job Type**
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
**Work Site**
This is a fully on-site position in Santee, California.
