Our client is looking to Product Engineer to be a part of their growing team in McConnelsville Ohio. Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of different engine and automotive components, with the facility in McConnelsville specializing in the manufacturing of powder metal parts for the automotive industry.

The product engineer will lead product development with multiple other engineers within the department.

Qualified candidates will have an engineering background with an emphasis on product development. This individual will need excel in a demanding and fast-paced environment where they will work as part of a strong and highly motivated team to accomplish the projects and other goals.

Responsibilities:

- Lead product development with multiple other engineers within the department.
- Use (CAD) programs to create product concepts
- Test the product for usability and safety
- Oversee the manufacturing and production process to set standards
- Evaluate and test the market for demand

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Team player with willingness to learn, share experiences, and create opportunities for you and for the company
- Self-motivated with project management experience
- Experience in powdered metals is a plus
- Experience with APQP management topics
- Experience in a Manufacturing or Automotive environment is a plus
