1st Shift Machinist

Details: Hiring Opportunity: McConnelsville, OHOur client is looking to hire a 1st shift Machinist to be a part of their growing team in McConnelsville Ohio. Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of different engine and automotive components, with the facility in McConnelsville specializing in the manufacturing of powder metal parts for the automotive industry. The 1st shift Machinist will be responsible for Responsible for the accurate machining of production tooling and support tooling.Job RequirementsDetails: Qualifications:- 5+ years of Machining experience (Manual or CNC will both be considered)- Computer skills to create efficient machining programs. (MasterCam and WorkNC are our CAM software used, along with Microsoft Office)-A good understanding of GD&T.- Must be capable of running all equipment inside the tool shop to produce and repair production tooling.Responsibilities:- Responsible for the accurate machining of production tooling and support tooling.- Cut tool steel in the heat treated state (58 Hrc.).- Measurement of your work using the metric system and metric measuring tools.- Running multiple machines simultaneously.- Support Production and the Tool Shop in all things related to tooling.- Maintain inventory of supplies needed to do your job.- Track work performed on tooling using the SAP internal rework form and confirm the operations in SAP.- Maintain 5s in your work area and designated area.
