Overview:

Join Road Runner Sports as our next Retail Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key role in developing impactful marketing campaigns and establishing grassroots partnerships within our retail division. Responsibilities include supporting core retail initiatives such as local SEO, marketing signage, product marketing, new store launches, event promotion, tactical retail support, giveback campaigns, and grassroots events.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams spanning marketing, retail operations, management, visual merchandising, e-commerce, creative, merchandising, business intelligence, and external vendors. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success and expansion of our retail stores nationwide.

What you will get to do as a Retail Marketing Coordinator:

  • Support the Retail Marketing Manager with marketing campaign creation, implementation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Supports local SEO initiatives; growing social media reviews, listing management optimization (through vendor partnerships) and regular content updates on our Google, Yelp, Apple & on-site store pages.
  • Assists with creative briefing, development and implementation of store signage.
  • Works closely with Visual Merchandising to develop compelling and cohesive marketing signage and in-store presentations/experiences
  • Partners with store leadership on projects, campaigns and retail specific marketing needs.
  • Supports project management functions and activity, including documenting and communicating requirements to all partners/stakeholders, leading status calls, and leveraging Asana or other appropriate PM tools.
  • Supports KPIs/reporting that measures program effectiveness and delivers actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Supports Retail Marketing Manager with marketing strategy, execution & reporting of outlet & clearance sales.
  • Assist with expenses, invoices, accruals and other financial Marketing responsibilities as needed.
  • Prepares and logs check requests for event partners
  • Supports Grassroots Marketing Teams with gift card and supply requests
  • Supports Grassroots Marketing team with race promo, sign, and barcode/source code requests
  • Maintains Grassroots Marketing Team CRM by inputting event data and providing reporting as needed
  • Deploys emails for Grassroots Marketing Team as needed through CRM tools.
  • Completes monthly expense reporting through Concur for all General Marketing Expenses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (BA) from a four-year University; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leadership skills including: Excellent customer experience behaviors, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving and sound decision making skills, effective delegation and validation and the ability to efficiently execute daily priorities
  • Ability to perform the basic functions of the job.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written format.
  • Must demonstrate an openness to feedback and ability to be open minded and adaptable to changing priorities

USD $25.00/Hr.

Compensation Max:
USD $26.50/Hr.
