Hoffer Plastics is hiring for "Custodian", "1st shift".

Play a key role in producing plastic components that make everyday life possible, from transportation to food packaging to healthcare.

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Cleaning/sanitizing washrooms, lunchrooms, office areas.

* Removal of snow and salting of parking lots and sidewalks.

* May operate compactor/baler as assigned.

* Pick up, sort and weigh scrap.

* Service air filters as needed.

* Knowledge of tools and painting wanted but not needed. Various projects/repairs around the building.

* Clean windows and fixtures, strip/wax or buff floors.

* Perform yard work such as planting and weeding

* Use equipment such as snow blowers, buffers, scrubbers, or sky jack.

* All team members shall:

* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

* Continue to grow job specific knowledge and use tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.

* Comply with safety regulations, safety equipment, and maintain clean and orderly work areas

* This job description does not contain every function/responsibility that may be required for the performance of this job. All team members are required to perform other related duties/functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* English skills that allow for reading and comprehending labels/instructions.

* Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.

* Work Independently
