About the job Business Development Specialist We are looking for:A Business Development Coordinator Someone who represents the company and themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a focused demeanor with great organization and follow up skills. A Marketing and Sales Support Specialist for our Boulder office. The successful candidate has a solid working knowledge of current marketing techniques including market research, direct email marketing, social media, networking, and creative approaches to general prospecting. Insightful knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and Sales CRM tools is a plus.What a typical day might be like:Each day is filled with a variety of rewarding tasks, that you will surely appreciate if you are the type of person that enjoys helping entrepreneurial owners grow their businesses and achieve their business goals.Your typical day may include the following tasks:Develop insightful and relevant data regarding potential prospectsAssist with a variety of sale and marketing initiatives on both an ongoing and special project basisDevelop and monitor KPIsManage sales tracking tools and generate reports on sales trendsLiaise with account managers and the sales team to develop specific sales strategiesUnderstand current suite of services and learn new features as they are developedMaintain current marketing collateral and develop new collateral as requiredReview feedback from prospects and customer regarding their use of servicesSuggest sales process improvementsSome other cool stuff to know:We are a collaborative and distributed team that readily coordinates through video conferencing.We are constantly learning and sharing insights and experiences with others on our team - whether we have been with the company for 15+ years or are just starting day one.We employ a wide variety of integrated SaaS based technologies (Including QBO) while emphasizing both efficient processes.We are always considering our Clients Experience (CX) and OutcomesThis job might be for you if:Proven work experience as a sales support specialist or similar relevant roleAbility to perform market research by industryDeveloping and nurturing prospects within the designated marketsBasic understanding of finance, accounting, and business operationsProficiency with the MS Office Suite (especially Word and PowerPoint) among other technologiesIn-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesExcellent communication skills; proficient ability to write and editAnalytical and multitasking skillsSocial media savvy; working knowledge of LinkedIn or similar toolsKnowledge of SEO, Google Analytics is a plusBS degree in Marketing or Associates degree in relevant field a plusYou might be a really good fit if:You enjoy market research to identify potential prospectsYou enjoy developing marketing messages that are well received by prospects via various mediumsYou enjoy helping support and achieve sales outcomesYou are an excellent communicator and understand that includes being a good listenerYou like to be and help others stay organizedYou take good notes when needed and ask questions when something is not clearYou are good at keeping a schedule and are effective at managing competing deadlinesYou are detail oriented and proofread copy that you or other create to ensure accuracy and comprehensibilityYou have a creative sense that makes your documents and power-points interesting and fun to readYou enjoy finding and mastering new internet-based tools and apps to improve your ability to perform your dutiesYou enjoy working with a team and helping others to shineYou are readily able to manage client engagements and relationships to help ensure successful outcomesYou get things done and you take pride in doing them rightYou have relevant accounting training and experienceYou are great at task management and project managementYou are extremely proficient with QuickBooks Online and/or other SaaS accounting technologyThe Pay and the Perks:We offer competitive salaries, a flexible work environment, and great colleagues Our full benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life AD&D, and long-term & short-term disability coverage.
