The person would work with the full engineering team for testing and debugging of the system under development. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the product's mechanical hardware, sensors and fluid controls meet the functional and performance requirements, while working with the team to deliver on schedule and on budget.Job Location: Woburn, MAReports To: VP Engineering - SystemsNumber of Direct Reports: 0Essential Duties Responsibilities:Interace with the design team and customers to understand and develop product specifications. Evaluate trade-offs between performance/functionality, quality, cost and schedule.Design mechanical pumping and cooling system selecting mechanical components and sensors. Key mechanical items include pumps, tanks, heat exchangers and fans.Design mechanical portion of flow and heat transfer control solutions.Create mechanical product schematics.Develop and execute verification test plans.
