Overview National multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their Minnesota or Wisconsin Offices. The studio is seeking a Project Manager experienced in directing teams and building long-term strategic relationships. The firm has 11 offices worldwide focusing on various projects. Responsibilities Collaborates with Principal in evaluation of project requirements and helps to negotiate an acceptable owner-architect agreement. Develops discipline cost and work-hour budgets for each project and monitors project costs. Oversees all correspondence and pertinent documents, ensuring accuracy and seeking legal counsel as needed. Coordinates review and evaluation of contractor bids and works with Principal for award recommendation submission. Provides day-to-day leadership in the absence of Principal, keeping communication open with office management leaders. Collaborates in marketing projects, including proposal development and client interviews. Write scopes of work for engineering design and present complex engineering analysis clearly to stakeholders. Research non-routine code issues, manage production of engineering sketches, and prepare cost estimates. Prepare addendum, change orders, and review drawings for compliance with standards. Develop a thorough understanding of construction processes and assist in the education of design staff. Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Engineering Professional Engineer Registration preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in design of engineering systems Public Corporate, Higher Education, and/or Healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of technology, IES, LEED, ASHRAE guidelines, and applicable codes Working knowledge of building engineering systems Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit are essential Please Note:
