Job Description:

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Asset Management Specialist to handle all aspects of asset management for their company. This stand-alone position will manage our fleet of 55 vehicles, along with other equipment nationwide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering, managing, maintaining, and tracking inventory, including computers, vehicles, and mitigation equipment such as fans and ladders. This role requires working closely with vendors, teams, and personnel within the company to ensure all assets are efficiently managed and safe. The candidate will also develop processes and procedures to support our growth and prepare reports for the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:

  • Oversee and manage the company's fleet of 55 trucks using enterprise fleet management software.
  • Order and manage equipment, maintain inventory, and track and monitor assets including computers, vehicles, and mitigation equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is safe and properly maintained.

Process and Procedure Development:

  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to organize and manage assets as the company grows.
  • Create detailed documentation for all asset management processes and procedures.

Vendor and Team Coordination:

  • Work with vendors, teams, and personnel within the company to manage assets.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present reports on asset management to the executive team.
  • Utilize analytic reasoning to provide insights and recommendations for asset management improvements.

Technology Utilization:

  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other relevant technology tools for inventory management and reporting.
  • Implement software solutions to improve asset management efficiency.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technology tools.
  • Strong analytic reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to manage risk and ensure all equipment is safe.

Preferred:

  • Experience in asset management.
  • Experience in auditing and organizing large inventories.
  • Proven ability to work with vendors and communicate effectively with various teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise fleet management software.
