Skill Profile:

  • ITIL Foundation is a must, CSAM Certification is preferred
  • Candidate who has worked in Software Asset Management will be preferred.
  • Expertise in Excel reporting
  • Exceptional Customer service skills and client focus
  • Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • bility to work with all levels of client and internal resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language
  • Knowledge of different vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.) and their licensing models is must
  • Should be able to analyze the impact of any change in IT environment/ infrastructure on licensing
  • Candidate should have experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro Module
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring of SAM Process, set-up of status reports and improvement process based on best practices
  • Planning, steering and training of the other license management roles
  • Quality check related to commercial information
  • Evaluation and management of measures based on the current compliance situation (e.g. license transfer)
  • Elaboration of a realistic forecast of software (maintenance) requirements (Demand planning)
  • Regular provision of information about the commercial entitlements (purchases, agreements)
  • Storage of the license certificates
  • Carry out License Optimization activities on both server and client applications
  • Set-up and maintaining of the software entitlement inventory
  • Provision of relevant data for SAM or in case of audits
  • Documentation of the license situation / Preparation of license balance

  • Enrichment of data with SAM relevant information
  • Elaboration and publishing of the license position of all products based on the license metric
  • Define and produce the reports in line with the requirements of the customer
