We are excited to announce a new Forensic Mental Health program is opening in our Richmond location We are hiring a Licensed Eligible Mental Health Program Manager for our Forensic Mental Health Group Home. The Program Manager is a leadership role that is responsible for overseeing the delivery of mental health services, managing budgetary resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing supervision to staff members within a forensic setting. This position requires a strong background in mental health, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Philosophy:Provides leadership and supervision for program and services. Supports the agency's mission, goals and objectives, and clinical philosophy. Ensures all staff performs in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Follows agency standards for ethical clinical and business standards. Conducts self as a positive role model for staff at all times. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of HIPPA and confidentiality standards. Clinical OversightProvide leadership and direction to the clinical team ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services in accordance with evidence-based practices. Develop and implement policies and protocols to maintain and enhance clinical standards. Supervision and Staff DevelopmentDirectly supervise and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance, feedback and support. Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify professional development opportunities, and ensure staff compliance with relevant training requirements. Budget Management Develop and manage the annual budget for the group home's operational needs, ensuring efficient utilization of resources. Monitor expenses, analyze financial reports, and collaborate with administrative staff to make informed budgetary decisions. Regulatory Compliance Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations governing mental health services in forensic settings. Ensure the group home's compliance with all applicable licensing and accreditation standards. Program Development and EvaluationCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluation of therapeutic programs that meet the unique needs of the residents. Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements. Risk ManagementIdentify and address potential risks related to clinical services, safety, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration and CommunicationFoster effective communication and collaboration among team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, support staff and any external providers. Act as a liaison between the clinical team and upper management, providing regular updates on the program performance. Quality AssuranceImplement quality assurance measures to assess and enhance the effectiveness of clinical services. Develop and maintain a system of monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators. RequirementsMinimum Qualifications3-5 years of relevant work experienceExperience as a supervisor, budgeting, crisis intervention, assessments, and service planning. Master's degree in a relevant mental health field (ie: Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counseling). Licensed eligible or certification in the applicable discipline. Extensive experience in a mental health or forensic setting with a strong background in clinical supervision. Knowledge of applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in forensic mental health. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Work Qualifications: Ability to understand agency billing and reimbursement regulations such as Medicaid, Medicare, and HUD.Ability to respond to stressful and crisis situations in a calm and professional manner. Demonstrate knowledge of computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, and online clinical and administrative systems. Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships while addressing complex and sensitive administrative and clinical issues. Physical Demands: Requires some lifting of individuals, groceries, etc. Intensive physical intervention of hazardous behaviors and assistance with care of the individuals.
