Built for performance with quality to last, Ventrac equipment is ideal for golf course turf management, sports fields, collegiate campuses, residential and commercial property maintenance, and public green spaces.
As the Weld Lead, you will serve as a leader in the Weld Department on 2nd Shift, providing day-to-day direction to achieve Ventrac objectives. This position ensures the quality production of products in a safe and timely basis to meet production standards while maintaining welding duties.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am (4 - 10s)
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with Ventrac, you will be responsible for:
- Drive performance and motivate the weld team
- Ensure weld department production goals and quality standards are met. Workstations include: robot welders, manual welders, maintenance
- Collaborating with the supervisor to delegate and direct general tasks for workers
- Performing quality control inspections for finished goods
- Drives and support continuous improvements; actively looks for opportunities to improve methods, material flow, safety and the work environment
- Utilize the Ventrac Network for routings and schedule
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures
- Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
- Maintain high safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years weld experience with the ability to read/understand procedures preferred
- 3+ years leadership experience preferred
