Pries is looking for an Extrusion Furnace Operator to add to our team No previous experience needed

This position is a 2nd shift position from 2pm-10am. Monday-Friday. Starting at up to $22 per hour Starting immediately

*Metatarsal guarded steel toe requirement* PPE Reimbursement Available

Duties include:

  • Die setup per schedule
  • Operation of an overhead crane to move and gather dies
  • Check tool stack for proper sizes
  • Properly setup dies and place in ready area
  • Assist press operator when making changes and setups
  • Occasionally pull random samples for Team Leaders to check conformity
  • Responsible for running the press while press operator takes breaks
  • Break down dies after extruded
  • Place dies in caustic area for cleaning and repair
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
  • Clean and organize your work area
