We are looking for an experienced CCLS to participate in therapeutic activities to support patients and their families when facing trauma/grief, complicated diagnosis and highly acute medical situations. Working with a team of other Child Life Specialists, together the team will responsible for facilitating coping, preparation and education related to the hospital experience. This Child Life Specialist will be responsible for: + Participating in therapeutic activities and programs to meet patients' psychosocial and developmental needs, and facilitating adjustment to health care experiences for patients. + Serving as member of multidisciplinary team. + Delegating work assignments to volunteers and participating in clinical training of student interns.
